1933 - 4th World Jamboree - Budapest, Gödöllö, Hungary

Weltjamboree 1933In 1933 the 4th World Jamboree took place in the park of Gödöllö in Budapest/Hungary. 25'792 scouts from 34 nations and 100'000 visitors took part and enjoyed the most beautiful weather. The participants remember Baden-Powell, who made his rounds on a magnificent horse at the camp site. For the first time there were Jamboree special stamps. The legendary White Deer of the Magyars was the Jamboree sign.
