1959 - 10th World Jamboree - Laguna, Philippines

The World Jamboree took place in National Park Makiling, Los Banos, Laguna, Philippines about 40 km south east of Manila. 12'203 scouts and guides from 44 nations took part. It was the first Jamboree in the "Far East". The theme was "Building Tomorrow Today". The participation of the Europeans was relatively low.
