1924 - 2nd World Jamboree - Ermelunden, Copenhagen, Denmark

Weltjamboree 1924The World Jamboree was opened on 10 August by Rear Admiral Carl Carstensen on Ermelunden, a few miles from Copenhagen. Almost 5'000 scouts from 35 nations took part. Highlight of the Jamboree was the World Scout Championship Contest. Fourteen countries competed with the United States. Despite very heavy rainfall, the Jamboree was a great success.
