14'752 Scouts from over 100 nations met for the 15th World Jamboree in Kananaskis Country, Alberta, Canada about 90 km west of Calgary. The theme of the Jamboree was "The Spirit Lives". For environmental reasons, no open fires were allowed, but this did not detract from the attraction.
