1967 - 12th World Jamboree - Farragut State Park, Idaho, United States

Weltjamboree 1967For the 12th World Jamboree, 12'011 Scouts from over 105 nations gathered at Farragut State Park in Idaho, USA (50 miles northeast of Spokane, Washington). A highlight was the reconstruction of the original campsite on Brownsea Island. Guests of honour were Olave Lady Baden-Powell and Hubert H. Humphrey Vice President of the United States. Indians, rodeos, a space capsule including an astronaut and a huge show until the end reminded of the Jamboree which had the motto "For Friendship".
